Here we shoe that the model predicts an increasing protective effect the higher the concentration of supplemented AP by showing an increasing neutralizing effect on ITMs both in plasma and in tissue, increasing concentrations of apoptotic neutrophils and anti-inflammatory cytokines, and decreasing concentrations of necrotic neutrophils and pro-inflammatory cytokines.
