Specimens from Madriz, Nicaragua, Quiché, Guatemala, Petén, Guatemala and Toledo, Belize were sampled to capture variation across countries. To assess within-country regional diversity, specimens from Guatemala and El Salvador were sampled more intensively to include regional and village-scale variation.
