Summary of statistics from the permutational multivariate analysis of variance testing for differences in community composition among diets (Adonis) and the permutation tests for homogeneity of multivariate dispersions among diets (Dispersal Permutest). Both tests were performed 100 times following independent rarefaction runs; the numbers are median and range of statistics from those 100 runs. Diet (yeast content) was treated as a continuous variable for Adonis but as a categorical variable for Dispersal Permutest as the latter analysis does not allow for continuous variables
