Binding activity of phosphorylated OmpR::His6 with PompF and PmrkA. Different concentrations of purified OmpR::His6 were incubated with 25 mM acetyl phosphate and 10 ng of the upstream regions of ompF and mrkA. Following incubation at room temperature for 20 min, the mixtures were analyzed on a 5% non-denaturing polyacrylamide gel. The gel was stained with SYBR Green I dye and photographed.
