GLP-2 receptor expression. Analyzing the expression of the glucagon-like peptide 2 (GLP-2) receptor in the colon and small intestine of healthy individuals we found a significantly higher expression in the colon than in the small intestine (that is, the terminal ileum) (a) (***p < 0.001).
