Comparison of quantitative RT-PCR (n = 6/group) and RNA sequencing (RNA-seq; n = 4/group) results of differentially expressed mRNAs in the sciatic nerve of 12-month-old and 1-week-old Sprague-Dawley rats.

To achieve baseline consistency, the quantitative RT-PCR fold change data were expressed as 2^-ΔΔCt, and RNA-seq data are expressed as log₂FC.
