NFIA+ but DNER- populations are present (magenta daggers), as are DNER+ but NFIA- populations (magenta section symbols). (b) The distribution of DNER+/NFIA+ AII amacrine cells, identified in (a), illustrates the method of counting cells to estimate total cell number.
