5.42.	The principles listed below must be followed when offering palliative care to patients with incurable breast cancer: The patientʼs needs must be considered and addressed on all four levels (physical, psychological, social, and spiritual). The patientʼs needs must be taken into account. Realistic treatment goals must be defined. The patient must be informed about the different ways in which palliative care is organized. An environment must be created which respects the patientʼs intimacy.	EC
