Transcripts level of JcWRI1 and some key lipid-related genes in J. curcas and J. integerrima. (A) Expression levels of WRI1 in fruit mesocarp, leaf, root, and different endosperm developmental stages (from Endosperm 1 to Endosperm 8, E1–E8) of J. curcas (Jc) and J. integerrima (Ji). E1–E8 represented samples of endosperm at different developmental stages (1–8 weeks after fertilization, WAF). The Jatropha Ubiquitin transcript served as an internal control for all RNA samples. Values are mean ± SD (n = 3) with statistical analysis by Student’s t-test (∗ indicates p < 0.05). (B) Comparison of expression levels of some key genes involved in glycolysis, lipid biosynthesis and TAG assembly in developing endosperms of J. curcas (Jc) and J. integerrima (Ji) at 6 WAF.
