Experimental treatments consisted of: no irrigation under four N rates (0,180, 240, and 300 N kg ha-1; W0N0, W0N180, W0N240, and W0N300); single irrigation at jointing under four N rates (W1N0, W1N180, W1N240, and W1N300); and irrigation at jointing plus anthesis under four N rates (W2N0, W2N180, W2N240, and W2N300). GN, grain number per unit area (103⋅m-2); TGW, thousand grain weight (g); HI, harvest index; DMA, dry matter at anthesis (kg ha-1); DMM, dry matter at maturity (kg ha-1); DMAM, dry matter accumulation from anthesis to maturity (kg ha-1); TDM, dry matter translocation amount after anthesis (kg ha-1).
