Continuous nasogastric tube feeding reduces levels of ascites in malnourished patients with decompensated cirrhosis. Patients with ascites who failed standard nutrition interventions had significantly reduced levels of ascites following 7 ± 1 weeks of continuous supplementary nasogastric feeding (Inline graphic, pre‐feeding; Inline graphic, post‐feeding).
