Dehydration reaction of micas: (1) annite + kyanite + 2 quartz = almandine + sanidine + H2O; (2) muscovite + quartz = sillimanite + sanidine + H2O; (3) phlogopite + sillimanite + 2 quartz = pyrope + sanidine + H2O.
