Washed platelets (A) or red blood cells (B) were incubated with C₁₇Sph or C₁₇DH-Sph and albumin or HDL. After washing, cellular and supernatant samples were separated into HDL and lipoprotein-depleted fractions by ultracentrifugation, and the C₁₇S1P and C₁₇DH-S1P levels were measured.
