The mice were fasted for 6 h, and orally administered vehicle alone or 25 mg/kg/body weight PEITC, followed by further 3-h fasting. Then, the hypothalami were quickly dissected out and extracted. (A) The phosphorylation of Ob-Rb, JAK2, and STAT3 in the hypothalamic extracts was detected by immunoblotting. (B–D) The levels of p-Ob-Rb/Ob-Rb (B), p-JAK2/JAK2 (C), and p-STAT3/STAT3 (D) were calculated, respectively, and expressed as fold change against vehicle-treated control.
