Transpulmonary pressure based on absolute calibrated esophageal pressure values. Airways pressure (Paw) and esophageal pressure (Pes) during end-expiratory and end-inspiratory occlusion maneuvers. Both raw Pes (grey tracing) and calibrated Pes (orange tracing) are displayed. End-expiratory and end-inspiratory values of transpulmonary pressure (PL) are computed as the difference (Δ) between Paw and calibrated Pes values during static conditions.
