Resveratrol inhibits S. aureus-induced VCAM-1 expression and inflammatory signaling pathways. (A) Cells were pretreated with resveratrol for 24 h, and then incubated with S. aureus for 4 h or 6 h. The mRNA levels and promoter activity of VCAM-1 were determined. (B) Cells were pretreated with resveratrol for 24 h, and then incubated with S. aureus for 24 h. (F) Cells were pretreated with resveratrol for 24 h, and then incubated with S. aureus for 4 h.
