RV strains establish an equal infection rate on M1- and M2- macrophages (Mφ) and induce type I and III IFNs. (A) At 1 and 3 dpi RV-infected M1- and M2-Mφ were subjected to immunofluorescence analysis with an antibody against viral E1 protein. Percentage of E1-positive cells was determined for 5 independent microscopic fields obtained in three independent experiments.
