The robot swims at an average speed of 18.9 ± 0.5 μm/s (n = 5) in silicone oil with viscosity 1 Pa.s, at frequency of 1 Hz (S1 Dataset). The red curve indicates the real shape of the robot, while the blue curve is added to demonstrate the propagating wave to its full length (S1 Video).
