The table presents median (interquartile range) values. VO2max - maximum oxygen uptake. HRmax - maximum heart rate. AT - anaerobic threshold. RQ - respiratory quotient (volume ratio of emitted CO2 to oxygen uptake). RC - respiratory compensation. VE - minute ventilation. MVV - maximal voluntary ventilation. MET - metabolic equivalent. Rf - respiratory frequency. The difference was tested using the Wilcoxon matched pairs test. P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. |
