Shown is the percent red blood cell hemolysis after 1 hour incubation with each respective peptide (mean and standard deviation of at least three independent experiments). Diamonds represent CM15, squares represent D1,13, triangles represent D3,13, and circles represent D3,7,13. Not represented in the graph are D3,14, D3,7,14 and D3,6,7,13,14, all of which produced less than 5% hemolysis at concentrations up to 64 μM.
