miR‐16 induces apoptosis of SCC‐25 and CAL‐27 cell lines. The miR‐16 mimic/inhibitor and the corresponding negative control were transfected into SCC‐25 and CAL‐27 cell lines, respectively. Annexin V/PI staining analysis was performed to investigate the apoptosis rate of SCC‐25 (a) and CAL‐27 (b) cells.
