DG-specific Nampt knockdown mice do not show cognitive hypersensitivity. a Nampt mRNA levels in the CA1, CA3, and DG regions of DG-specific Nampt knockdown and GFP-injected control mice (n = 3 mice for each group; *p < 0.05, unpaired Student’s t-test). bd Contextual fear conditioning tests were conducted on DG-specific Nampt knockdown (n = 7) and GFP-injected control (n = 6) mice. No significant main effects of group or group by time interactions were found from the analyses conducted for any of the components of the fear conditioning procedure. Values of percent time freezing are shown from the tone-shock (CS-US) training period on day 1 (b), contextual fear conditioning on day 2 (c), and the auditory cue period on day 3 (d). No statistical differences were detected by two-way rmANOVA. Data are presented as mean ± SE
