Compound 2 reduced the amount of intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS). Cells were treated with 100 μM of compound 2 for 4 h, then exposed to 200 μM H₂O₂ for 12 h. Cells were stained with dichloro-fluorescein-diacetate (DCFH-DA). The DCF fluorescence intensity was measured by fluorescence microscope.
