Electroencephalography (EEG) monitoring in rats after 3 and 6 months of exposure to traffic-related air pollution. The relative power, absolutely power, and multiscale entropy (MSE), of rats in the control, high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA), and particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of < 1 μm (PM1) after 3 and 6 months of exposure were calculated. There were no significant differences in the four frequency bands (delta, theta, alpha, and beta) of relative power, absolutely power, or MSE among the control, HEPA, and PM1 groups after 3 and 6 months of exposure
