Daily, goats were presented 10 times with two shapes (X and O) and positively rewarded with food immediately upon a correct choice. There was a significant decline in shape selection performance during 30 days of chronic exposure to 6% InCO₂ (A), with minimal changes in performance during 30 days of exposure to room air (B).
