VAMP711 interacts with PM H⁺-ATPase AHA1. A, Luciferase complementation assay. The indicated constructs were expressed in Nicotiana benthamiana leaves. 1, AHA1^Nluc and ^ClucDDM1; 2 and 3, AHA1^Nluc and ^ClucVAMP711; 4, DDM1^Nluc and ^ClucVAMP711. The luciferase signal was detected using a cooled CCD camera (iKon-L936; Andor Tech). B, ABA induced the interaction between AHA1 and VAMP711. AHA1^Nluc and ^ClucVAMP711 were transformed into N. benthamiana leaves. After a 3-d incubation, the leaves were treated with or without ABA.
