(C) SMMC7721 cells were transfected with pcDNA3.1(+)‐FSTL5 or pcDNA3.1(+), and then treated with 10 μM Z‐VAD‐FMK for 48 hours, and caspase‐3 activity was measured by a Caspase‐3 Activity Assay Kit (n = 3, ***P < 0.001, Student's t test).
