Deguelin inhibits anchorage‐dependent and ‐independent growth of NSCLC cells. A, Deguelin suppresses anchorage‐dependent growth of NSCLC cells. NCI‐H23, NCI‐H1299, and NCI‐H460 NSCLC cells were treated with DMSO or the indicated concentrations of deguelin in medium containing 10% of FBS and growth was measured at the indicated times using the WST‐1 assay. Data represent mean ± SD from three independent experiments. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001, significant difference compared with the DMSO control cells. B, Deguelin suppresses anchorage‐independent growth of NSCLC cells. Soft agar assay was performed as described in Materials and Methods. The cultures were incubated for 14 days and then colonies were counted.
