Alum‐induced peritonitis as reduced in ZFP91‐deficient mice. Wild type (WT) or ZFP91 knockout (ZFP91−/−) C57BL/6 mice were i.p. injected with alum (700 μg per mouse) for 12 h. (A–C) The levels of IL‐1β, TNF‐α and IL‐6 in peritoneal lavage fluid was measured by ELISA after the i.p. injection of alum. *P < 0.01 compared with alum‐treated WT mice. (D–F) PECs were lysed and analysed for the expression of proteins by immunoblot.
