The outlet of two microdialysis probes positioned in the organs can be fed into the analysis system for simultaneous measurement of both streams. (B) Perfusion of a discarded human kidney and (C) a discarded human pancreas on clinical perfusion machines. In both cases microdialysis (MD) probes were inserted in the tissue and connected to the rsMD analysis system for measurement of glucose and lactate in real time.
