Transcriptional profiling of selected genes by RT-PCR. Total RNA was extracted from the wild-type (WT), GCN5OX (OX), or gcn5Δ (KO) mycelia exposed to light for 0, 2, 4, and 6 h and used for RT-PCR analysis with selected candidate genes. A 1% denaturing agarose gel of total RNA showing 18S and 28S rRNA served as a loading control. The experiments were repeated three times, and representative results are displayed here.
