The yields of water extract, 50% ethanol extract and 90% ethanol extract of 15 spleen-meridian herbs. The herbal extracts were prepared with distilled water, 50% ethanol and 90% ethanol by refluxing twice and each time for 2 h. The yields were calculated as the percentage of the weight of dried extracts to herbal powders. All values are in Mean ± SD, n = 3. The detailed yield and origin of each batch were shown in Table 1.
