Study flowchart. After screening 181 participants, 141 individuals were randomly assigned to the Virtual Reality (VR) or Script-Driven Imagery (SDI) paradigms, in the order stress (analogue trauma) followed by a neutral condition or vice versa (counterbalanced). After excluding 14 participants, the final sample consisted of 127 individuals.
