The β coefficient is the estimated regression coefficient from unadjusted linear regression of each fatty acid on each genetic variant of the FADS gene regions. The P values are uncorrected for multiple testing, with *** indicating significance after Bonferroni correction for multiple testing (critical P value is 1.84 × 10–4).
