Fig. 2 — Levels of 5-FU of each sample (urine, serum, saliva) from finish point of cancer chemotherapy until no detection of 5-FU. It was detected in saliva ar 12 hours after the completion of the 5-FU treatment in subjects 1 and 4, respectively. In subject 4, 5-FU was detected in the saliva even after 48 hours even though it was not present in their sera at these time points.
