Laminin β2 binds to one of the extracellular loops of the P/Q- and N-type VGCC and the N-terminal of agrin binds to the laminin γ subunit at the coiled-coil domain adjacent to laminin α5 Arg2659Trp. The LG domain interacts with integrin receptors and with the large intraluminal loop between the seventh and eighth transmembrane domains of SV2A, which is also the receptor for botulinum toxins A and E (BtxA and BtxE). The N-terminal of SV2A interacts with the C2B domain of synaptotagmin 2.
