Ion leakages when S. aureus BA01611 was exposed to colistin for 2 h. The samples were digested in a HNO₃/H₂O₂ solution of 6 mol/L. The total mineral contents of the bacteria were measured by a Varian 810/820-MS ICP Mass Spectrometer. Data are presented as means ± standard deviations. The statistical analysis was performed using a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) with the least significant difference (LSD) test. ^∗P < 0.05, ^∗∗P < 0.01 in comparison with the control group.
