Correlations between IL-35 levels and (A) CRP, (B) ESR, (C) RF, (D) anti-CCP antibody and (E) DAS28 score in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Pearson's correlation coefficient was determined in the correlation analysis. Significant negative correlations were observed between the serum IL-35 concentration and the ESR (r=−0.4247; P<0.01), as well as the DAS28 (r=−0.4909; P<0.01). IL, interleukin; ESR, erythrocyte sedimentation rate; CRP, C-reactive protein; CCP, cyclic citrullinated peptide; RF, rheumatoid factor; DAS28, 28-joint disease activity score.
