| Stable strabismus angle > 6 months |
| No previous operation/Botox |
| No medications influencing the muscular tone |
| Forced duction test (+) |
| Best corrected visual acuity of the affected eye better than 6/60 |
| Postoperative follow up ≥ 12 months |
