Fig. 2 — Typical example of measurement of shear elastic modulus by ultrasonic shear wave elastographic imaging. The quadrangular region of interest (ROI) within the color-coded area of the elastographic images was set, and the average value of Young’s modulus in the quadrangular ROI was automatically calculated. In addition, the shear elastic modulus was calculated by dividing the obtained Young’s modulus by three.
