Glucose deprivation enhances the inhibition of HeLa cell proliferation induced by S1.

Notes: (A) HeLa cells were treated with S1 (0, 2.5, 5.0, 10.0, and 20.0 µM) for 24 hours, and cell viability was determined by MTT assay. (B) HeLa cells were treated with 10 µM S1 or EBSS for different times (0, 2,4, 8, 12, and 24 hours), and then cell viability was determined by MTT assay. (C) HeLa cells were treated with 10 µM S1 and 10 µM S1 + EBSS for 12 hours, and then, cell viability was determined by the MTT assays. Data are presented as mean ± SD (n=6). *P<0.05 vs control group.
