A total of 241 genes were annotated as miRNAs. NR: normal renal function (n = 43) KD: kidney disease (n = 45). After trimming procedures in NGS, 19,701,266, and 21,499,030 reads were obtained from NR and KD groups, respectively. A total read numbers of 18,704 and 23,874 corresponded to miRNAs from NR and KD groups respectively. One pooled sample was analyzed in each group. Down-regulated genes in KD, genes showing read number > 150 in NR were selected. Up-regulated genes in KD, genes showing read number >150 in KD were selected.
