ABT-263 reverses pulmonary artery (PA) remodeling in Sprague-Dawley rats treated with SU5416/hypoxia. Sprague-Dawley rats were treated with SU5416, subjected to sustained hypoxia for three weeks, and then maintained in normoxia for five weeks. After pulmonary vascular remodeling was developed, ABT-263 (5 mg/kg body weight) was then injected four times over a two-week period. Lung tissues were immersed in buffered 10% formalin and embedded in paraffin for haematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining. Representative images at ×1000 and ×200 magnifications are shown.
