Neutrophil chemotaxis induced by AEL (100, 200 and 300 μg/mL) was assayed. NO was evaluated by nitrite concentrations using the Griess reaction, PGE2 and TNF-α were measured by radioimmunoassay. Results are reported as the mean ± S.D. (n = 6) ** p < 0.01 compared with saline.
