Cells were treated for 5 days in the absence or in the presence of different doses of GEM. Cell proliferation was assessed by MTT metabolism then IC₅₀ determined. Values are the mean ± SD of 2 separate experiments. ^*, because Capan-2 cells display very low double time (94 hours), treatment with GEM was extended to 16 days.
