The effect of curcumin on the NF-kappaB p65 and IL-6 of 16HBE exposed to PM2.5. Cells were pre−treated with 10, 20, 40 μM curcumin for 30 min followed by exposure to PM2.5 (250 μg/mL) for 24 h in the presence or absence of curcumin. After 24 h, cells were collected and measured for NF-kappaB p65 and IL-6 expression by Western blot. (A) Expression of NF-kappaB p65. (B) Expression of IL-6.
