AKT and MAPK in shear-regulation of miRs. 10 µM LY 294002 (PI3K inhibitor), PD 98059 (MAPK inhibitors), SB 203580 (pP38 inhibitor) and SP 600125 (pJNK inhibitor) were used to block the shear-induced phosphorylation of AKT, ERK1/2, p38 and JNK in ECs. 10µM DMSO was employed as control. QRT-PCR shows the inhibition of PI3K pathway attenuated the shear-induced miR-19a, but there were no significantly changes of miR-23b and 27b; inhibition of MAPK pathway attenuated the shear-induced miR-23b and 27b, but not miR-19a.
