Effect of ABE on RANKL-mediated expression of osteoclast-related genes. BMMs were pretreated with or without of ABE (50 μg/mL) for 1 h and then treated with M-CSF (30 ng/mL) and RANKL (100 ng/mL) for the indicated time points. Total RNA from the cells was obtained and the expression of OSCAR, TRAP, cathepsin K, DC-STAMP, β3-integrin and OC-STAMP mRNA was analyzed by quantitative real-time RT-PCR. ** P < 0.01, *** P < 0.001 vs. control; ^# P < 0.05, ^## P < 0.01, ^### P < 0.001 vs. DMSO treated group in the indicated time, respectively.
