Deguelin affects the activities of MMP-2 and -9 activities in U-2 OS cells. U-2 OS cells (5 × 104 cells/well) were incubated with 0, 2.5, 5, 10, 15 and 20 μM of deguelin for 24 (A) and 48 h (B) then to detect the activity of secreted MMP-2 and MMP-9 using conditioned medium from U-2 OS cells. The different activity of MMP-2 and MMP-9 were determined by densitometric analysis and results are expressed as a percentage of the control (100%).
