Disease index of bacterial wilt of tobacco with PCA treatment. Unwounded tobacco plants were soil-soak inoculated at concentrations of 5 mL (1 × 108 cfu/mL) and inoculated at 28 ± 1 °C after treatment with 40 μg/mL PCA. Untreated plants were treated with sterile water. The mean of three replications and the data were from a single representative and reproduced several times. The disease index was expressed as the mean ± SE.
